We went to the Galeries Lafayette today and I couldn't believe it. I don't even love shopping that much, and I still wanted to be locked in by accident so I could spend the whole night sampling chocolates in improbable flavors, viewing the surprisingly entertaining umbrella selection, and trying on gorgeous and completely unaffordable couture.

I will admit that, after our initial disappointment with designer prices, Anne and I spent an inordinate amount of time on the children's floor checking out the miniature dinosaur models.
